Precious Saviour

Representative Text

1 Precious Saviour, I implore Thee,
All Thy fullness now impart;
Keep Thy love-wings hovered o'er me,
Dwell Thyself within my heart.

Refrain:
Precious Saviour, precious Saviour,
All my treasure, Lord, Thou art.
In Thy favor, in Thy favor,
My poor longing heart assure.
Precious Saviour, precious Saviour,
Keep me in the narrow path.

2 Let not sin again defile me,
Keep me holy, faithful, pure;
Never from Thy face exile me,
Love me, keep me evermore. [Refrain]

3 Hide me from the world's alluring,
Buried with Thee into death;
Let me, all life's ills enduring,
Walk the holy way of faith. [Refrain]
