Come, Children, One And All

Author: Anonymous Hymnal: The Cyber Hymnal #14581 Hymnal Title: The Cyber Hymnal Refrain First Line: Birds are singing Lyrics: 1 Come, children, one and all, Our Easter carol sing, And with the birds and flowers, Our heart’s pure incense bring. Refrain: Birds are singing, Buds are springing, Everything is gay, While sunbeams gleaming, Bright eyes beaming, Sing our Easter lay. 2 For Christ has ris’n today, The Sunday of the year; Then with glad hearts we’ll raise Our voices bright and clear. [Refrain] 3 We know it was for us Our Savior rose today; Ascending first to Heaven, He said I am the way. [Refrain] 4 Then let us all today, Our Easter anthems raise, And join the angel choirs, In hymning forth His praise. [Refrain] Languages: English Tune Title: [Come, children, one and all]

Hymnal Title: The Cyber Hymnal Author of "Come, Children, One And All" in The Cyber Hymnal In some hymnals, the editors noted that a hymn's author is unknown to them, and so this artificial "person" entry is used to reflect that fact. Obviously, the hymns attributed to "Author Unknown" "Unknown" or "Anonymous" could have been written by many people over a span of many centuries.
