William B. Tappan

For at least fifty years I have had in my possession a hymnal titled "Sacred and Miscellaneous Poems" by William B. Tappan and copyrighted 1847. My copy is signed by Mr. Tappan with the note "Lyman Stewart Jr - Family Friend William B. Tappan. Boston, Dec 2, 1846". I don't know if Lyman Stewart is the same as founded BIOLA University or if there is another Stewart family in Boston. I'm afraid I'm not a very good researcher. The Hymnal is in fair condition.

I would very much like to contact either the Tappan family or the Stewart family regarding ther Hymnal and would appreciate whatever help the Hymnary can provide. Thank you in advance for your consideration and my best wishes for Happy Holidays tyo you.
