Error Report - The Last Call of Mercy

On this this hymn's page (http://www.hymnary.org/text/tis_the_last_call_of_mercy), it gives the author as James Monroe Hagan, with the first known publication date of 1849. However, Hagan wasn't born until 1858. I also don't see Hagan's name on any of the scanned images for this hymn.

Anyone know what's going on here?

I changed the description to "Author (attributed to)", but my guess is the text authority really shouldn't have an author, even merely attributed, listed. Another hangover from the paste-n-fill approach inherited from the DNAH, I think.

I strongly suspect that the first three hymns listed here should all be under a single text authority, and that neither Hagan nor Davis will turn out to be a serious candidate for the authorship of the whole, though both may have edited/altered later published variants.
