I have been trying to find out about the writer of this hymn, David J Evans (born 1957) but am drawing a complete blank. Does anyone know more about him, and how he came to write the song?

The song appears in Sing! A New Creation, so there should be some info about Evans in the Leader's Guide. I don't have it in front of me right now, but I can try to look it up, or if someone else has it handy, maybe you can help us out.
