Tried to search for Person Name "Arthus S. Sullivan" ad "No results" were found. Tried his full name, "Arthur Seymour Sullivan". Same (null) results. Only way to find him appears to be to leave out his middle name altogether, even though the person authority is called Sullivan_AS. And it looks like the bio has been trashed; it ends in the middle of a word.

If this were, say, Wikipedia, if I put in the wrong form of Sullivan's name it would silently redirect me to the form the page was under. A similar feature would frequently save me literally hours of duplication of effort here. And probably others have the same experience but just haven't mentioned it.

These searches work fine if you put in "Arthur Seymour Sullivan" rather than "Arthus". Was that a typo or a variant form of his name?

Yes, "Arthus" was a typo; I searched for "Arthur". This screenshot shows the result: Arthur Seymour Sullivan null results.

Ah, I used the "search the entire hymnary" box. It's a little more lenient about matching in some cases.

Typing "arthur seymour sullivan" into the Person Name box also ought to find him. This is something that should be fixed on this end. I'll add it to the todo list.

EDIT: actually, I think the correct solution in this case is to have Sullivan's full name in the database, including middle name.
