Five of the six instances of "Cantad alegres al Señor, Mortales todos por doquier" have an authorship attribution, presumably imported from DNAH, ascribing the text to
Tomas J. Gonzalez Carvajal; Robert A. West, 1809-1865; Robert Athow West
I can see no basis for attributing it to anyone but González Carvajal. It is not a Spanish version of West's "Come, let us tune our loftiest song". I removed West from the text authority authorship field, but I am reluctant to treat the instances in the same manner without checking what those five hymnals actually say. I would be extremely surprised to find that all five of them list West as the author, though. Could someone with access to CC1964, EHIE1931, ENHE1914, HELE1931, and/or HEL21939 please check this?
