Fifteen years after his death, he published it

The Psalter Hymnal Handbook, in its notes on machs_mit_mir_gott_gesius, says that Schein published the tune in the second edition of his Cantional (1645). But he had died in 1630, so either Julian (on whom the datum rests) erred in giving this date for the Cantional, or someone other than Schein was responsible for the publication. The way Julian words it (in his entry on Schein) does not make this claim for posthumous activity. The assertion should be reworded. Will the Psalter Hymnal folks forgive me if I edit their text?

Both the PHH and Julian state that the tune appeared in Cantional, 1645, which was the second edition. The first edition was published in 1627. The hymn was first published in 1628. I don't have a lot of time to research the issue, but there seem to be other sources that indicate that it appeared in the 1645 edition of Cantional. So I don't think there was an error in PHH.

I silently emended it so it makes sense now.
