This partita provides a new look at the hymn tune ENGELBERG that includes dramatic as well as reflective and introspective expressions. It may be played in its entirety as a voluntary during worship or in concert. The individual movements (Theme, Trio, Pastorale, and Final) may be used as prelude, offertory, and postlude for a worship service or as introductions and/or organ stanzas when the hymns, "We Know That Christ Is Raised" and "When in Our Music God Is Glorified" are sung.
