«Hymns» tab

The Hymnary used to show four tabs at the top, "Texts, Tunes, People, Hymnals". I was away for a few weeks and now on my return I see a fifth tab, "Hymns". It's not clear to me what this is for; it seems just about like "Texts" except errors are more frequent. (E.g. "2 in this world", which is the second stanza of the hymn in question, treating the stanza number as part of the text; but the actual second stanza capitalizes "In..." and is correctly transcribed under Tender shepherd, Thou hast stilled", where there is also a long list of instances, only one of which is accessible from the "Hymns" tab.) What is the purpose of this seemingly useless, dead-end-oriented effort-duplicating tab anyway? I don't recall having received email about it, nor do I see an explanation here in the Forums.

The Hymns tab allows people to search for hymnal instances more directly, for example, if they want to find "Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound" in a particular key; it is helpful for those kinds of searches that connect text and tune information.

There are some first line errors that you can see only if you are logged in resulting from our efforts to quickly add hymnals for the NEH grant. These will get fixed in the next few months.
