92. The Home-Land So Dear

1 There’s a vision of glory that fills me with joy,
Of a land where no sorrow nor burdens annoy;
Where the Saviour’s own hand wipes away ev’ry tear,
‘Tis the beautiful home-land, the home-land so dear.

Refrain:
O the home-land so dear, blessed home-land so dear,
Where there is no more sorrow and never a tear;
Our loved ones are there, we shall meet them again,
In the beautiful home-land, the home-land so dear.

2 O the joy of the soul when I see His sweet face,
And receive the bright crown which is mine by His grace;
I shall praise Him while ages roll endlessly on,
For the glories enduring when earth shall be gone. [Refrain]

3 When I stand with ten thousand before His white throne,
And He calls me by name and proclaims me His own;
Then my soul shall be flooded with raptures of joy,
And the praises of Jesus my tongue shall employ. [Refrain]
