55. Put Your Trust in Jesus

1 Put your trust in Jesus, leave with Him your care,
He has surely promised all your griefs to bear,
Tell Him all your trials, whatsoe’er they be;
Put your trust in Jesus, till His face you see.

2 Put your trust in Jesus, in the darkest night,
Just beyond the shadows shines a golden light;
He will not forsake you, tho’ you walk alone,

Earth can never give you and can not destroy;
Resting on the promise He so freely made,
