140. The Victor’s Song

1 “Saved by grace,” O let us sing the victor’s song, Lifting heart and voice to join angelic throng; Christ in Pow’r has conquered sin’s domain, Through the grace He went, and rose again; Let us tell the story Of His matchless glory, Praising Christ, the Lamb for sinners slain. Refrain: “Saved by grace!” O send the news to ev’ry nation; Christ, the Son of God, has died for all creation; Praise Him, praise Him Give Him adoration; Join ye all with glad acclaim, Praise His great name. 2 “Saved by grace,” again take up the glad refrain; Christ, the Lord of lords, will reign on earth again. Sorrow shall depart from earth’s oppressed, No more groans shall rise from hearts distressed; When on clouds descending, While all knees are bending, He shall bring the nations into rest. [Refrain]
