148. Keep Telling The Story

1 Keep telling the story of Jesus, whose love
Is better than rubies or gold;
Tho' often you tell it again and again,
The story will never grow old.

Refrain:
Keep telling the story
In all of its fullness today;
Keep spreading the news of His wonderful love,
Yes, tell it along your way;
Keep telling the story
The seed of the kingdom sow,
Shun not to declare the whole counsel of God,
Oh, tell it wherever you go.

2 Keep telling the story of Jesus on earth,
How humble the pathway He trod;
Oh, tell how He died on the old rugged cross,
And how He ascended to God. [Refrain]

3 Keep telling the story how Jesus will save,
Yes, all who believe on His name;
That when He come down as a Lamb to be slain,
'Twas for the lost sinner He came. [Refrain]

4 Keep telling the story that now He is King,
And sits on the Father's great throne;
Keep telling that soon on the clouds He'll return,
And gather His faithful ones home. [Refrain]
