47. Come, Brother, Let us hear you Tell

1 Come, brother, let us hear you tell
If with your spirit it is well;
Is your heart filled with heav'nly love?
Is your name written up above?
Then, brother, raise on joyful wing
The praises of your Saviour, King,
And tell to witnesses around,
If peace and pardon you have found.

2 Come, let us hear you tell once more
Of how you found the open door,
And heard the blessed Saviour say,
"Come in, I am the Life, the Way."
Come, tell of how the light shone in,
When first you lost your load of sin,
And felt your feet on solid ground,
Your burden lost, your Saviour found.

3 Come, let if all along the way
You find it light from day to day;
Does Jesus lead by waters still?
Does he with joy your bosom thrill?
Then tell it out, and ever sing
The praises of your God and King,
Until with him, above the sky,
You'll sing his praise, while ages fly.
