114. He that believeth

1 He that believeth on the Son of God,
Joy all unmeasured he shall know;
Pardon and peace and everlasting life
Freely will God bestow.

Verily, verily I say unto you,
Verily, verily I say unto you,
He that believeth on the Son
Hath everlasting life.

2 He that is hungry—let him now be fed,
Never to hunger anymore;
He that is thirsty, let him drink and live,
Now let His thirst be o’er. [Refrain]

Banish today all sin and strife!
