1. Together they are growing,
The wheat beside the tares;
The sunshine of God's mercy
For harvest each prepares.

They are ripening, ripening,
Ripening for the harvest;
The wheat for the garner,
The tares for the burning,
The reapers soon will come.

2. E'en now the fields are whitened,
And ready do appear
For work of angel reapers,
The harvest must be near. [Chorus]

3. Let us improve each moment,
In love and works abound;
That we may in the harvest
