Text: | Somebody’s Waiting |
Author: | Mrs. H. S. L. |
Tune: | [Millions the story have never heard] |
Composer: | Mrs. H. S. Lehman |
1 Millions the story have never heard,
Millions for whom Christ died;
Lost, without Jesus, because the Word
They have been long denied.
Refrain:
Somebody’s dying away out there,
Somebody needs you for earnest pray’r;
Somebody’s waiting for you to bear
The message of life in Jesus.
2 Oh, when you look unto Him and pray,
“Father, Thy will be done,”
Will He not answer, “Without delay
Rescue these hopeless ones?” [Refrain]
3 Time is fast hast’ning and sin’s dark night
Soon will obscure the way,
Quickly then carry the Word of Light,
While it is called today. [Refrain]
