1 O, we are little soldiers, in the army of the Lord,
Standing in the ranks or marching forward at His word,
We’ll follow Him where’er He leads, for He the way doth know,
Marching in His footsteps, we to vict’ry go.

2 Tho’ we are little soldiers, there is much that we can do,
Jesus needs good soldiers, and He needs the children too,
And though we’re only little ones, we’ll do our very best,

3 We’ve Jesus for our Captain, and He leads us day by day,
See His banner overhead, ‘tis pointing out the way,
Then march along in steady line, and let the watchword ring,
