LXXV. Surrender to GOD

1 And will the eternal King
So mean a gift reward?
That offering, Lord, with joy we bring,
Which thine own hand prepar'd.

2 We own thy various claim,
And to thine altar move
The willing victims of thy grace,
And bound with cords of love.

3 Descend, celestial fire,
The sacrafice inflame;
So shall a grateful odour rise
Thro' our Redeemer's name.
