O rapturous dream
Which unalloyed pleasures bestow,
Where Christ is the beam
That shines o’er the stream
That flows darkly the valley below.

Will you go to that land,
To that beautiful stand,
Where nevermore cometh the night,
And the Savior of men
Will reveal to us then
His treasures of grace and delight.

2 His love and His care
Lead upward to where
The flowers are always in bloom,
And winter’s chill air,
And summertime glare
