10762. Blessed Cleansing Fountain

1 In the blessèd crimson fountain
I’ve been washed and saved from sin,
He who died on Calvary’s mountain
Gives me precious peace within.

Refrain:
O the blessèd crimson fountain,
Free for all its waters flow;
Come and test its healing merit—
It will make you white as snow.

2 Though life’s road is rough and dreary,
Though through dangers I must go,
Christ is with me as I journey,
And no harm my soul shall know. [Refrain]

3 I will trust my loving Savior,
Faithful will I strive to be,
Till I reach the land of promise,
And His wondrous glory see. [Refrain]
