10341. What A Precious Savior

1 Tho’ thou’rt wandering away from Jesus,
Weary, and far from the Father’s home;
Listen to the blessèd invitation,
Hear the Savior who bids thee come.

Refrain:
"Come now and let us reason together,"
Saith the Lord in His Word;
"Tho’ your sins be as scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow,
Tho’ they be red like crimson,
They shall be as wool."

2 There’s no love like unto that of Jesus,
Faithful and true He will ever be;
Come, O come! as needy and dependent;
Grace sufficient is promised thee. [Refrain]

3 When temptation presseth hard upon thee;
And all the way seems so dark and drear;
Look by faith unto this loving Savior,
Thou shalt triumph o’er doubt and fear. [Refrain]

4 What a precious living friend is Jesus!
Saving and keeping unto the end;
Where sin once prevailéd, grace aboundeth,
Gifts of strength every day He’ll send. [Refrain]
