1 Dear Lord, here in Thy house of prayer
We come to worship Thee;
Help us to feel that Thou are near
Our little words of love to hear,
As we sing joyfully.

2 Dear Lord, here in Thy house of prayer
We kneel to pray to Thee;
Direct our thoughts to Thee, our King,
As we our prayers and praises bring
In happy unity.

3 Dear Saviour in Thy house of prayer
If we remember Thee,
We shall in thought and deed and word
Give Thee our very best, dear Lord,
And worship worthily.
