1 Lord, I need to come and worship
More than deer need healing streams;
When I cannot feel Thee near me,
Sorrows fill my restless dreams.
I remember how I came
To Thy house to praise Thy name;
Soon, O Lord, I'll stand before Thee
And with joyful heart adore Thee.

2 When my enemies reproach me
And the storm-tossed billows roll,
Then the Lord will send salvation
And His love will fill my soul.
All the days He gives delight;
Thankful songs fill every night.
