1 My heart is enraptur’d with Jesus;
My constant companion is He;
His love to my heart is more precious
Than anything earthly could be.

But what will it be?

A sinner redeem’d by His grace,
Beholding Him face to face,
Oh, what will it be?
My soul! oh, what will it be?

2 A perfect delight I am finding,
Communing with Him day by day;
A light on my path ever shining
While walking with Him in the way. [Refrain]

3 If fellowship here is so blessed,
Oh, who can conceive the delight,
When eye to eye we shall behold Him,
When faith has been merg’d into sight? [Refrain]

4 When death, our last foe, has been conquer’d,
And we shall have enter’d the rest,
The city prepared for the ransom’d,
The home of the blood-wash’d and blest. [Refrain]
