51. Jesus Knows it All

1 When the day seems dark and dreary,
When the heart is sad and weary,
Christ the Saviour knows,
All life’s bitter woes.

Jesus knows it all,

All life’s toils and cares,
All the tempter’s snares;

2 When there’s naught but pain and sadness,
When there’s neither joy nor gladness,
Tell the Saviour true,

3 Trust the future’s toil and sorrow,
Or its bright and cloudless morrow,
To the faithful Guide,—
In His love abide. [Refrain]
