Looking for alternatives to AMSTERDAM for "Rise, my soul, and stretch thy wings"... the tune search https://hymnary.org/tunes?qu=textAuthNumber%3A%22%5Erise_my_soul_and_stretch_thy_wings%24%22%20in%3Atunes&sort=matchingInstances shows the second most frequent pairing as "BEETHOVEN", and the link indicates the reference is to HYMN TO JOY. But at HYMN TO JOY I can't find a single instance showing that first line. There's obviously an error here, but I'm not at all sure where. My first guess is that "BEETHOVEN" refers to a different tune, and that one or more instances of that tune (or maybe all of them) are mislinked to HYMN TO JOY.

Usually, the list of instances defaults to show the hymnals published after 1979. To see the whole list of instances, scroll to the bottom and click on the link to include pre-1979 hymnals. The tune page indicates there are 7. I found one in "Church Choral-Book" (1860) "High School Hymnal" (1899). "School and College Hymnal" (1906) "The Book of Praise for Church School and Home" (1893), "The Book of Praise for Sunday Schools" (1893), "The Church Hymnal" (1898) "The Hymnal" (1916), and "The Student's Hymnal" (1912),  No error here.

Another way to do it would be to use the Advanced Search funtion. Enter "Rise my soul and stretch thy wings" in the Text field, put Beethoven in the Person field, click the bubble for Instances, and it will return six examples of that combination.

I  must have been asleep when I did that search!
