Flexscore subscription

Hope fully this is the right place for this kind of question as there is no email contact for tech support

I can't seem to access flexscore on some hymns

I have just purchase flexscore two days ago and have got a couple of powerpoint melodies which are useful - however i can no longer seem to access any flexscore files - eg if i go to

https://hymnary.org/tune/westminster_abbey_purcell#media

there is the option to buy a flexscore

$1.99 Purchase the Accompaniment FlexScore for this hymn instance (licensed for a single user)

$9.99 Purchase all of the FlexScore instruments/formats for this hymn instance (licensed for all instrumentalists in your church or organization)

The subscription option has disappeared but i can't access the files as I did for this file

see the screenshot here

Perhaps it is not included due to licensing issues?

Many thanks

Richard

We have several FlexScores with the tune WESTMINSTER ABBEY from various hymnals. The hymnals are listed alphabetically. The first one on the list, however, from "Catholic Book of Worship III" has a text "For the Healing of the Nations" which is copyrighted by Hope Publishing, so this particular score is not included in the FlexScore subscription because the text is copyrighted. If you select another hymnal you should find a score that you have access to.

Can all tunes in Flexscore be transposed or just some? I looked up Holy, Holy, Holy as a sample tune, and clicked on Advanced Options. Transpose and Capo are there, but both are shaded out. I assume this means there is no transposition option for this hymn. Thank you. Rick Ball.

All the FlexScores may be transposed, but they may need to be purchased before they can be transposed. There are free ones to try out under "My FlexScores" in the left side bar.

How far back do you research?  I found some hymnals from long ago with many old gospel tunes:

"Favorite Songs and Hymns", Shape Note Edition, copyright 1939 republished 1967 Stamps-Baxter Music & Printing Company of the Zondervan Corporation, Dallas Texas

"Church Hymnal", Shaped Notes Only, copyright 1951, Tennessee Music and Printing Company, Cleveland Tennessee

"The Modern Hymnal" Standard Hymns and Gospel Songs New and Old for Generral Use in All Church Services, Printed in Round and Shaped Notes, Broadman Press, Nashville, Tennessee, successor to Robert H. Coleman copyright 1926

We have "Church Hymnal" indexed but without page scans. We also have "The Modern Hymnal" indexed with page scans. We do not include every edition of a hymnal - so if we have a round note edition indexed, we do not need to add the shape note edition. A volunteer is welcome to add "Favorite Sogns and Hymns" or any other older hymnal. Volunteer training msy be found in our wiki: https://hymnary.org/wiki
