Conjoined Roses of Sharon need separating

Two probably quite different songs are mixed under the text authority i_am_the_rose_of_sharon_the_lily_of_the_. One is an anthem with a tune by William Billings, and it actually begins "I am the Rose of Sharon, and the lily of the..."; the other, which lacks the "and", may well be by William Thomas Dale, as the authority asserts. But Dale lived long after Billings and cannot be given credit for the text Billings used (which in any case is very close to literal scripture).
